Terms of Service
These are the Terms of Service for "Legendary Tales Online", the abbreviation "ToS" will be used from now on. These Terms are subject to change at anytime.
Use of the site and online game constitutes agreement with all the current terms and conditions.
Major changes to the ToS will be announced as news, although it is the responsibility of the player to be aware of and in compliance with the ToS at all times. Failure to do so may result in the immediate deletion of the player's account.
Charges
Current rates and surcharges for using the services may be obtained by accessing the appropriate billings, section of the sebsite. Legendary Tales Online may change its fees and billing methods at any time and at its sole discretion effective upon thirty (30) days' prior notice, which notice shall be posted in the billing section of the website. All changes will be posted online, and the user is responsible for periodically reviewing posted pricing information and for keeping current with any changes. If any such change is unacceptable to the user, the user may terminate his/her account. User's continued use of the services following any posted billing change shall be deemed acceptance of such change. User's monthly membership fees are non-refundable in whole or in part. User shall be responsible for any and all Internet service provider (ISP) access charges incurred while connecting to the game. Each time the user accesses the services, user agrees and reaffirms that Legendary Tales Online is authorized, as applicable, to charge user's designated credit card or debit card. Charges are to be paid monthly by User in the currency in which they were billed. If user's use of the services is subject to use or sales tax, as provided by local, state, national or international law, then Legendary Tales Online may pass the amount of any such taxes on to user.
Connectivity
Legendary Tales Online does not guarantee connectivity nor error free gameplay. Service interruptions might also occur for technical updates, game expansion or other reasons. These reasons will be announced on the main website most of the times but this is not necessary.
Accounts
This game is not intended for persons under fourteen years of age. By playing the online game you are confirming that you are of fourteen years of age or older or that you are below fourteen years of age and have consulted with your parents in order to play this game. Players found to be underage without parental permission will have their account terminated.
You are provided with only one game account per registration. You are allowed to have multiple registrations.
You cannot play more than one instance of each game account simultaneously. If a second login is detected while playing, the second and all subsequent logins will be denied.
Censorship/Decency
Legendary Tales is not censored. Verbally abusing staff and players is not allowed and might lead to getting your account flaged. Users are required to maintain a level of decency and not use strong, vulgar words.
Intellectual Rights
Any individual who attempts to reverse engineer, hack, gain unauthorized entry into or undermine the system integrity of the game software or data (including attempting to access any internal part of the game from an offsite location without permission) will be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law.
Terminating Your Account
Individuals who no longer wish to play Legendary Tales Online may terminate their accounts by not logging into their accounts for a period of 3 months. Accounts inactive for longer than 3 months will be set to inactive making login impossible. After another 3 months of a redemption period the account, including any characters and their items will be deleted for ever without further warning to the player.
User Generated Content:
To the extent that portions of this site provide users an opportunity to post and/or exchange information, ideas, and opinions ("Postings") in chat and message boards, via emails, and in descriptions of phrases, signatures and clans, please be advised that Postings do not necessarily reflect the views of Legendary Tales Online. Although we intermittently observe exchanged and posted information, in no event does Legendary Tales Online believe or have any responsibility or liability for any postings or for any claims, damages or losses resulting from their use and/or appearance on or in conjunction with this Site or elsewhere. However, Legendary Tales Online reserves the right to edit, delete, or refuse to post any Posting that violates these Terms and Conditions, as well as revoke the privileges of any user who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
User Submitted Content:
User agrees to upload to software libraries, message boards, or to transmit on or through the services only that content which is not subject to copyright laws, or which any holder of copyright or other proprietary rights has given express authorization for distribution on the services. The user represents that if he/she uploads any files, he or she shall have the prior legal authorization to do so. By submitting such content to any "public area" of the website or game, the user grants Legendary Tales Online and its affiliates the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, communicate to the public, perform and display such content (in whole or in part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media or technology now known or later developed, for the full term of any rights that may exist in such content. Obligations of Legendary Tales online
Legendary Tales online shall not be responsible for any failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement (connectivity, loss of account information) if such failure is caused by events or conditions beyond Legendary Tales Online's reasonable control.
Disclaimer of Warranty
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Legendary Tales Online hereby disclaims any and all warranties relating to connection to, transmission over, or results or use of, any network connection or facilities provided (or the failure of such to be provided) through the Services. User is solely responsible for assessing his/her own computer transmission network needs, and obtaining suitable service from a third party to fulfill such needs. USER EXPRESSLY AGREES THAT USE OF THE SERVICES, ALL SOFTWARE DISTRIBUTED BY Legendary Tales Online AND THE INTERNET ARE AT USER'S SOLE RISK. THE SERVICES AND ANY SOFTWARE DISTRIBUTED BY Legendary Tales Online ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS.
